Exciting News! Additional Fishing on the River Dee. Dear Member

We are very pleased to announce that with the help of one of our members we have secured some additional fishing on a lovely secluded stretch of the River Dee around the Bangor-is-y-Coed area available from 16th June 2018  through an affiliation with Huyton & District Angling Association

One of the advantages of this water is that one of the larger beats has access by car to drop your tackle at your peg.

Huyton & District Angling Association are based in the Prescot area of Liverpool and were  established over 100 years ago and have held the lease for the coarse fishing on this water for just as long.

This is primarily a venue that fishes from the beginning of the season in June until around the first frost and is an ideal stick float water for Chub, Dace, Perch and Grayling with the possibility of Barbel which are spreading throughout the Dee. Regular catches of 50lb plus of Chub to 6lb and some good bags of Dace have been recorded. The fishing rights also extends to the Clywedog however it is mostly shallow following the reconstruction of an outfall pipe 15 years ago but worth a look if the main river is up.

Directions and further information about access and parking etc. will be available from the PSAC Members Only Forum or by email from the Club Secretary at psac@ymail.com
